How do I register for a conference or meeting?
There are three ways to register:
  • Online registration - just a few simple clicks on the conference or meeting Web site.

Can I be invoiced for a conference or meeting?
Yes. Please complete the PDF or hardcopy registration form and write INVOICE in the payment area. Please note that payment in full MUST be received before the event, and if you are attempting to get an offered pricing discount, such as early bird rates, payment in full must be received before that listed deadline.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Check.

How do I sign up to exhibit at a conference or meeting?

How do I become a sponsor?

How do I become a speaker at a NAIOP conference?
NAIOP's conferences are planned by a program committee. If there are speakers or complete sessions you would like the committee to review for consideration, please send an e-mail to barbd@naiop.org.

I'm a Forums member. Do I still need to register to attend the Forums Symposium or the meeting before the Development Conference?
Yes. Notice is sent to all Forums members in advance of each meeting.

Are there discounts for multiple attendees from my company to attend a conference?
Unfortunately, no. NAIOP maintains as low a rate as possible for individuals to attend.

How do I register for a chapter meeting?

Which registration fee do I use for NAIOP conferences?
  • Member - if you are a dues-paying member of NAIOP.
  • Chapter Exec / Staff - if you are an employee of a state association.
  • National Forums Member - if you are a registered member of a NAIOP National Forum.
  • Spouse / Guest - if you are attending a meeting with a registrant but are not attending any of the business meetings. (for specified receptions and special events only)
  • Non-member - if you are not a dues-paying member of NAIOP.
I'm a speaker at a meeting. Do I need to register to attend?
Speakers must register to attend the conference, even if they are complimentary. This registration helps NAIOP know head counts for meals, receptions and meeting space. Contact your speaker liaison with any questions.

What does my registration fee cover?
Your registration fee covers all events at the conference or meeting unless specified otherwise.

Will my name badge be mailed?
Name badges may be picked up on-site at the NAIOP Registration and Information Desk.

Does my registration fee include hotel accommodations or travel costs?
No. Registration fees include events at the meeting. However, special hotel rates are available for all meeting attendees if registered by specified date. In addition, there are often special car rental rates available for meeting attendees.

Are there travel discounts?
Most of NAIOP's conferences and meetings have car rental discounts. Please visit the particular meeting Web page for details and special codes.

I need driving directions.
Because people travel from around the country, NAIOP recommends www.mapquest.com or calling the meeting hotel's concierge directly for directions.

What should I wear?
Generally, NAIOP meetings are Business Attire. However, some meetings, when located in resorts, are business casual. Evening events tend to be a little "dressier." Please visit the specific meeting Web page if in doubt what to pack. NAIOP also recommends checking www.weather.com for the latest forecasts before packing for your trip. Also remember that meeting rooms tend to be cool.

Can I attend all sessions on the schedule at NAIOP conferences and meetings?
Yes, unless noted as "invitation only." Such meetings are open only to the committee/task force members of such particular meeting. Forums meetings are for members of that Forum.

If I'm registered to attend a NAIOP conference, do I also need to sign up to attend specific committee meetings or education sessions?
Yes and no. All committee, Board and Forum members should RSVP/register for their own individual meeting/events. For all conference general sessions please proceed directly to any meetings you would like to attend, unless noted as "invitation only." Some sessions, however, have limited attendance and may require advanced registration as noted.

What if I need to cancel?
Cancellations must be received in writing. Refunds or partial refunds are determined by date of cancellation as specified for each meeting, and are noted for each meeting. Send cancellations to Allison Murphy.

I can't find an answer to my question. What do I do now?
